Installation Instructions

GRIB to STF version 4.1.4.0

Either unzip the Windows distribution file, or untar the Linux distribution file.

This will create a grib_to_stf directory and associated subdirectories.

The file structure is:

  grib_to_stf
   |       |
 config   Data
          |  |
       GRIB  METGM

The config directory contains the mapping files, and the Data directory contains the data for test runs.

Execution

grib_to_stf  stf_name  data_path  metadata_path  model  format

where

stf_name = the name of the STF to be created,


data_path = full path to the location of the data files,


metadata_path = full path, including filename, to the location of the metadata file


model = name of the model used to create the data in the data files, and


format = format of the data files, GRIB or METGM.
