Fact Sheet: _STF
Utilities Suite
|
Quick Scroll To:
DESCRIPTION
This free suite contains the STF Defragmenter and
STF Rename utilities. The STF Defragmenter minimizes STF file sizes by
rearranging the fragments or discontinuous parts of STF files that may
occur due to heavy editing. The STF Rename is a convenience utility for
renaming STF transmittals.
RELEASE INFORMATION
The current release version of both applications
is 3.1.0. These tools are SEDRIS 3.1 compliant.
These applications are linked statically, and additional
documentation is included in the downloads. You do not need to download
or install the SEDRIS SDK to use these tools.
FEATURES
STF Defragmenter
- Unlike SEDRIS 3.0.3 transmittals, newly created
transmittals with SEDRIS SDK 3.1 should not need defragmentation.
- The defragged transmittal is modified in place.
No backup is made.
STF Rename
- This application will rename all the files associated
with a transmittal, and its internal logical names.
- Users should use this application to rename SEDRIS
transmittals, instead of just changing the transmittal file names.
