Maya to STF Converter

DESCRIPTION
This free (beta version) CoDiC tool
converts a Maya 5.0 file to STF. This beta version is limited to export a static model without animation, and omits every 10th
polygon from the translated model.
RELEASE INFORMATION
The current beta version of this application is
1.1. This tool is SEDRIS 4.0.1 compliant.
The application is linked statically, and additional
documentation is included in the download. You do not need to download
or install the SEDRIS SDK to use this tool.
FEATURES
- Polygonal mesh, NURBS surface, and Subdivision surface will be exported from Maya�, along with these mesh attributes.
- Maya� material parameters are mapped to equivalent material parameters in SEDRIS STF format.
- Texture mapping (JPEG and IFF format) support.
- Users may select specific types of primitives, and convert them into polygon meshes only.
LIMITATIONS
- Material support:
- Lambert, Blinn, Pong type
- Color, Transparency, ambient color, diffuse, translucence
- Texture mapping: JPEG and IFF support only
- NURBS surface to polygonal mesh tessellation only
- Subdivision surface to polygonal mesh tessellation only
- Lighting and camera are not supported
- Linear animation only

- 512 MB RAM
- 20 MB of hard disk space
