DESCRIPTION
This free tool extracts features from SEDRIS Transmittals
(STFs) and creates ESRI Shape files.
RELEASE INFORMATION
This tool is compliant with the 4.1.1 release of SEDRIS technologies.
The application is linked statically, and additional documentation is
included in the download. You do not need to download or install the SEDRIS
SDK to use this tool.
FEATURES
- Reads a SEDRIS
transmittal file and creates shape files.
- Creates a shape
.dbf file with as much metadata as possible using values from the SEDRIS
transmittal file.
- Creates separate
shape files for each Union of Features.
- Translates EDCS
Classification Codes to corresponding FACC feature codes.
- Translates EDCS
Attribute Codes to corresponding FACC attribute codes...

LIMITATIONS
- Only processes
SEDRIS transmittal files produced by the vpf_stf and Sage applications.
- The shape .dbf file
only contains metadata that is captured by the vpf_stf and Sage applications.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Hardware
- Recommended minimum CPU speed for Intel based machines
is 500 MHz.
- Recommended minimum RAM for all supported platforms
is 128 MB.
- Minimum disk space required is 100 MB.
Software
- Operating Systems Supported:
- Microsoft Windows
- Linux Redhat 9
- Software Requirements: Java 1.3 or later runtime
environment is required for Java GUI
