DESCRIPTION

This free tool will convert a 3.0.x transmittal to a 3.1 transmittal.

RELEASE INFORMATION

The current release version of this application is 1.0. This tool is SEDRIS 3.1 compliant.

The application is linked statically, and additional documentation is included in the download. You do not need to download or install the SEDRIS SDK to use this tool.

FEATURES

• Verbose output. Separate message and object id for each warning or error.
• Error, warning, and infomational message logging.

LIMITATIONS

Release 3.0.x transmittals that yeild Syntax Checker or Rules Checker errors are not guaranteed to convert correctly:

• in many cases a 3.1 transmittal will be created with similar checker errors,
• in some cases a warning or error will be printed, and
• in others the conversion will fail and not produce a 3.1 transmittal.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Hardware

• There are only minimal memory and disk requirements.

• Sparc, SunOS 5.6
• Linux Redhat 7.2
• Windows 98/2000/NT

PLANNED IMPROVEMENTS

This application will be upgraded with the next release of the SEDRIS SDK, to allow conversion of 3.1.x transmittals to transmittals of the next higher release.
