DESCRIPTION
This free suite contains the Depth, Rules Checker, and Syntax Checker
tools (also included in the SEDRIS SDK).
RELEASE INFORMATION
Current version is 4.1.3. These tools are
SEDRIS 4.1.3 compliant, and are also included in the SEDRIS SDK Release
4.1.3.
These applications are linked statically, and additional documentation
is included in the downloads. You do not need to download or install the
SEDRIS SDK to use these tools.
FEATURES
Depth
- Performs a depth-first search traversal of the given STF transmittal,
and prints the output to stdout.
- Primarily intended for use by data providers to debug data relationships.
- Operates on any platform that supports a C compiler and the SEDRIS
Read API.
Rules Checker
- Verifies the structural semantics of a given STF transmittal against
the DRM Constraints.
- Prints error messages for any problems that it finds in a SEDRIS transmittal.
- Aids data providers in developing semantically correct transmittals
by reporting and explaining encountered errors.
- Data consumers may find Rules Checker useful to verify that a transmittal
is semantically correct before the consumers try to process a transmittal.
Syntax Checker
- Verifies the syntactic correctness of a given STF transmittal.
- Aids data providers in developing syntactically correct SEDRIS transmittals
by reporting and explaining encountered errors.
- Data consumers may find Syntax Checker useful to verify that a transmittal
is syntactically correct before the consumers try to process a transmittal.
- Operates on any platform that supports a C compiler and the SEDRIS
Read API.
LIMITATIONS
- Not all the SEDRIS DRM constraints are checked by the current version
of the Rules Checker. Please see Rules Checker documentation for details.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Hardware
- Recommended minimum CPU speed for Intel based machines
is 200 MHz.
- Recommended minimum RAM for all supported platforms
is 128 MB.
- Minimum disk space required is 30 MB.
